Inability to exchange driving licences  impacts thousands of returning Irish citizens  every year. A new report asks the Irish Government, the Minister for Transport, and the Road Safety Authority to take urgent action.

RTE has carried a major report on the campaign for driver’s license reciprocity between the US and Ireland.

“It was positive to hear from the Department of Transport that Australian and a majority of Canadian licences can now be exchanged. The committee is now considering how best to engage with key US states.”
